Hotelito may be short on electrical appliances, but it is long on other amenities. The waters sports center offers canoes, rowboat, kayaks, and windsurfers. There is a swimming pool and shaded hammock area, plus horseback riding, bird watching, biking and, on some nights, an evening bonfire. For relaxation, guests lounge by the pool or visit the Mundo de Salud spa for a complimentary steam bath or other treatment. In the evenings, guests gather in the El Cantarito bar, for dinner, drinks, and billiards by candlelight. Transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta is available upon request (surcharge).

Open-air bamboo showers are supplied with solar powered hot water and biodegradable soap. Rooms have wooden floors, a small sitting area, and original artwork. Beds have a gauze mosquito-net covering. Thatched-roof ceilings. No electrical outlets, phones, or TVs.
